Review on Breaking Dawn Part.1.

There is no compelling climax, humour is occasional, story stays stagnant, no conflict points in the script, secondary but significant characters find themselves doing a cameo (read everyone except Bella, Edward and Jacob) and last but not the least though the central characters get great footage, they fail to salvage the lackluster screenplay.
However despite its drawbacks, Breaking Dawn remains a film not to be missed, after all you get to witness the much awaited wedding of the year as Edward finally weds Bella.
You literally feel the wedding jitters, anxiety that grips Bella as her father walks her down the aisle. Bella's uneasiness at being the centre of attention as a bride and how all of her inner turmoil gets silenced when she looks into the eyes of her loving groom...director Bill Condon executes the wedding just like we had imagined it to be.
Magical is the word. Condon meets our and Meyer's every expectation from that wedding. It transcends you to a different world, compelling you to believe that marriages are indeed made in heaven.
1st half of the film does charm you. However once the wedding and honeymoon ends, Breaking Dawn ceases to be the beautiful fantasy Twilight film you so thoroughly fancy. It changes track and ends up as a spooky tragic dull drama.
You begin the film knowing you will not see the end and that's frustrating too.
Edward Cullen's sex appeal touches new low as he is reduced to being a sheer spectator in the dull happenings with no voice of his own. Bella continues to enjoy her sufferings as she always does, this time she stretches it way too much and Jacob sulks, in vain.
No wonder Robert Pattison is glad Twilight is over. As Edward he seems bored and uninvolved. Its not surprising he acts the same way, the script does not favour him anymore and you yearn to see the Edward you fell for in the previous Twilight movies. His new short haircut too takes away a lot from his trademark sexiness.
Kristen Stewart's makeup plays the lead role in the film and it acts well.
Taylor Lautner finally overshadows Robert Pattinson in the looks department.
Breaking Dawn: Part 1 disappoints when compared to the previous Twilight films. Lets hope Twilight regains its beauty in the last of the Twilight series: Breaking Dawn Part 2.

"Twi-hard" Fans set up a camp site at the venue, lining up for a Twilight cast meet and greet event.  obviously this group of fans belongs to Robert Pattinson.
(Robert Pattinson made the scene, sort of, as fans waited in line the night before the "Twilight" event.)

This whole series revolves around a human girl, Isabella Swan, and  a vampire,  Edward Cullen.

Werewolves in the series are one of the threats to vampires.  Their fights have provided a lot of action scenes in the films.
